Why won't my Intercept recieve text messages? (Sprint) 10 points?

It always says that my text message memory is full, when I don't even have a single message in there. Weird huh.? Anyway I tried deleting a lot of pictures but still nothing. It also says that my space on my phone is almost full. I hard re-booted my phone once about 3 weeks ago. I dunno if that's the case or not. Any help? I don't wanna bring it to the store, either. Thanks!(:
