BLACKBERRY CURVE 8520 IS BROKE. PLEASE HELP!?

well, my phone crashed earlier so i took the battery out, it was doing the usual re-booting screen with the white line at the bottom and it stopped moving, i tried taking the battery out again but it did the same thing. is there any way to get it to work or do i need to take it into the shop? its gets to just over half way when it stops. thanks :)
