Try installing the Intel chipset drivers. If you did a factory restore they should be located in C:\IBMTOOLS for that model. Or download the chipset drivers from Lenovo's support site for the R61. You can also install the Thinkvantage System Update tool which will go out and search for whatever drivers are needed including BIOS updates.
