Can you remove the stock from this shotgun?

One allen type screw holds on the rear stock of Mossberg shotguns. It is inside the stock and is accessed by taking the butt plate off,or in the case of the gun pictured the movable end should come off to gain access. As others have said,you can buy this same type of shotgun set up the way you want,and probably for less than the model pictured!
