How can you record with the blue snowball and Cubase LE?

I just got the Blue snowball in the mail today and I already have a program called Cubase LE. I'm trying to record with tracks but I can't seem to know how.. I put the musical track on and use another track for my vocals and I don't think my Blue snowball is connected with the software I keep seeing SoundMAX... I don't know how to change this setting...and ALSO why am I keep getting a 2 sec delay with mic I'm using a headset and everything is 2 sec off..It's hard to record this way.
