What's with so many dislikes on answers that are obviously just someone trying to be helpful?

If you answer a question make sure that you do not come across rude or patronizing. Plus don't be brutally honest use some tact. So if you know in your heart that you was helpful and not rude and someone does not like your answer just remember its their opinion and that's all
