Is there a Audition requirement for A music major in community college?

I am currently considering becoming a music teacher ....I currently have vary basic skills as I have not consistently played an instrument for years... but i love music so my question is there a audition required usually to major in music at a J.C.? also do they offer classes to teach you piano from scratch? as i plan to transfer and continue my musical education

How am I( or anyone) supposed to beat teams using camping tactics on MW2 or BO?

I have run into so many groups of people on MW2 and BO that are in a 6 person party and join a game of TDM and have organized camping tactics. I cant win! I try to play smart and flush them out w/ the usual stuns, heart beat sensors, fmj, etc. They each take a position on the map that gives them a huge tactical advantage over the enemy and if one dies another one is in a position to replace him, or they just use tac inserts. For example, i just finished a game on Terminal(4-75!). One enemy was stationed at the booth near the sunglass/magazine store staring down the entrance to the plane, one was behind him in the very back near the lugage weight thing, one was at burger town, one was behind the library in the garden, and the rest would back up their douchy pussy teamates. They all had either an LMG or a nubetube class with 1 man army and they all had claymores. No matter what you do, you cant get past them. I am legit player that has a KD of 2.04 but no matter what you do you cant kill them. Does ANYONE with the same experience with these kind of dumb shits have any advice on how to beat them without leaving the game?

My grandad died this morning and as i am the most musical person in the family , i was left in charge of the funeral music. I play acoustic guitar and my grandad didn't get to hear me play very often as i am a nervous player. I thought it would be nice if i plucked up the courage to sing and play at his funeral for him. I have a toshiba lap top p305 d58836 and it won't boot up!?

It was working fine yesterday, I was using it and was done so I closed the lid. Before I went to bed I wanted to check my email so I opened the lid and it would not come out of sleep mode (the power button was on but the screen remained blank and no hard drive activity). I pushed the power button off and on again to try and wake it but nothing. I removed the power cord and the battery and tried re booting again. The power light would come on and the cd drive would spin but no hard drive activity and the screen would remain blank. I tried my recovery disk in the cd drive and re booted but screen remained blank, the cd drive would spin for about 30 seconds and hard drive would remain silent. I did some research on the internet but all the tips I found would not work. I took out my ram and hard drive and re seated them both but nothing happens. I also tried to reset my cmos battery but gave up because I did not want to take the lap top apart too much and possibly mess anything up more since I really don't know what I'm doing. Please help!!

When I startup my PC it responds with buzzing. Please help?

So last night I left my computer on with the radio channel running and I woke t o find the monitor was not displaying anything. I turned it off and restarted it and it responded with (in order) long buzz short buzz short buzz long buzz short buzz short buzz, and the computer sounds like it's starting up still but nothing shows up on the monitor still. it says no signal. I tried removing and re-inserting my RAM cards and it didn't help. The only thing I did recently was discharge the excess static in the computer, by unplugging it and holding the power button in for 30 seconds and re-booting it. It's is supposed t help with slow desktops. If anyone could help me, it would be great.

I wouldn't consider buying a scope with a condensation problem or a misaligned reticle. In fact, I wouldn't accept a scope with these problems if it were given to me for free. These scopes are defective, not just blemished factory seconds. Don't waste your money on them, you'll have a hard time moving them, and will probably make some enemies, not friends, trying to resell them.

Why does the Sims 3 keep freezing on me?

I'll be playing the game and it'll freeze about every 30 seconds. It freezes only for like 5-10 seconds, but its more than enough to affect the game play. I've tried uninstalling custom content, turning off all other programs on the computer, emptied my recycle bin, restarted the computer, downloaded a patch. None of it works. Went to EAgames.com support, they told me to do a clean re-boot, that didn't work. **My computer specs match the game requirements** as well...anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?!

How do you like my Black Ops Shotgun Class?

i would switch out the olympia for the stakeout because to be honest the olympia is a terrible gun and with the stakeout you get more ammo and bullets to shoot. also switch out sleight of hand for steady aim pro. i know it takes a long time to reload but when you switch this out your shotgun becomes a one shot kill almost all the time. also i would say try using the spas with silencer that always fun. but if you make those few minor improvements you will love that class.

How did you create the subdomain? At a guess, your change means it's now looking for fastcgi_params, which it didn't need before, and that's why it's throwing the error. A quick search indicates that the file is used for load balancing and there should be a sample/default file somewhere. I'd take this to the Apache forums - it should be pretty easy to find someone who can point you to the right directory or just send you a sample file.

How To Keep Curls In Tact Question?

In a few weeks I'm going to be in the musical "Beauty and the Beast" and be playing Belle. For the opening scene (and for most there after) I have my hair in a curly ponytail. But for the ballroom scene, (the one where they dance and the song "Beauty and the Beast" is sung), my hair is going to be most likely down. I was wondering if there was any possible way I could curl my hair so that the curls stay in tact for the scene or if there's anything I could put in my hair to make the curls stay. I only have a few minutes to change and get my hair out of a tight ponytail into having it down, so re-curling would probably not work, considering the quick change and the thickness of my hair. Does anyone have any idea(s) so I can solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

The number of ships on each planet is increasing and the planets evolve as the number of ships on them increase! The FG700S is a very good quality beginner guitar with a solid spruce top and plays really well. $199 is pretty much the standard price for them. You can walk into Guitar Center and buy one for that, but you'd have to add on sales tax. If you buy one online and having to play shipping be sure you consider that. Personally, I'd buy one at a music store so you can play it first and see how it sounds. Each guitar is a bit different so it's good to play the one you're buying and have someone there who can address any setup issues or questions you have about the guitar.

So much pain after tonsillectomy?

A week ago yesterday I got my tonsils out. They said everything looked fine and I could go home after about an hour in the recovery room. The first two days I was really well compared to what I thought it would be like those days. Then on the third day I was in a lot of pain. It got better on the fourth and the fifth. Then the night before last I got a really really bad ear ache in both of my ears after eating dinner. I took the prescription pain killer (Tylenol with codine that I had stopped taking maybe after the fourth day) and was fine. Then yesterday I woke up with a horrible ear ache and took plain extra strength Tylenol for that. Then after I ate dinner yesterday I got a really really bad earache that didn't go away for a few hours until I took more medicine. Then last night I went to bed around midnight and woke up at one am and was in excruciating pain in my right ear with pain (although minimal) in my left ear. I started to cry and in about half an hour the pain started to die down and I went back to sleep. At four in the morning I woke up again and was in so much pain, I hoped the pain would die down like it did earlier in the night but it didn't so I took more of the perscription, but it felt like it did nothing. Then I woke up this morning at nine and was in a lot of pain again. I quickly surfed the internet for things I could do to numb the pain. I'm now icing my right ear and its working a little, I am not in as much pain as I was when I woke up but its not so little I could just forget about it. Please help, I'm only twelve going to be thirteen soon and I don't want to be in pain on my thirteenth birthday. Also, I'm starting summer camp for musical theater next week and I have to sing and dance and act, but it hurts to talk how am I going to be able to sing? Everyone says I should be talking fine because it has been more than a week but it hurts like hell! I don't know what to do?

This might sound really dumb but music gets in the way of everything for me. I love music and all of my hobbies are musical ones but my biggest one seems to be just listening to music. It stops me from doing anything else either creative or just watching TV for example because I can't turn it off. Everyone applying to Yale has the highest grades in the hardest classes and very high test scores, and they take about 8% of applicants. You need all that and a lot more to get in. As far as activities go, they'd rather see one great activity related to your major (publishing a novel, doing original research, starting a business, whatever you plan to major in and how you've gotten involved in the field) than joining everything out there. With 'very good' grades, good SAT, and lots of random activities, you're an average applicant at best. NYU is a bit easier to get into, but not a lot easier.

My cd burner wont burn anymore?

Hi all i have a tower pc windows 7. last week my cd burner was fine and copied audio cd on windows media. untill now it takes longer to burn and to find out it doesnt register on the cd and computer says complete? i installed nero burning rom and i got 'scsi aborted' so i got another cd burner from my spare pc. swapted it installed the driver and its still the same 'scsi aborted' i have tried unstalling the drivers and installing again but still i am puzzled and tried what i can. my last of the list is to re boot windows 7 all together and try that way. if someone can help me? thanks. p.s i also tried system restore

So i was playing minecraft and my computer ran out of battery and went into sleep mode. i quickly plugged it back in and when i came back on to minecraft it showed minecraft but everything was the wron color and i couldn't move. i took out the battery and completely shut down and when i re-booted my world was deleted. i worked for months on that world and its happened to me 3 times and its making me think i should quit minecraft. My computer does not have any viruses and this has happend to me 3 times now and i dont know what to do. when i go into minecraft. and i click on the saves folder it says my world is still there but its not on the minecraft main menu. how can i recover my worlds?

CROSMAN C11 Tactical or C21 or C31?

Hey guys I'm looking into buying one of these guns but I have heard mixed things about them such as the c11 tactical not shooting as fast as it says (550 fps) but it looks cool with the laser and mock silencer and the c21 nothing really bad just is a bit slower at (495 fps) as well as the c31 but what I love about these two is the fiber optics sights the c11 tactical is about $56 and the c21 is $56 as well and the c31 with holster is $45 I just wanted to ask if anyone with knowledge about these guns could tell me which one is best thanks

My 8 year old daughter loves singing along with Youtube, we've bought her a couple of microphones but ....?

both had a pretty short life. Is there something robust we can get her that doesn't cost too much. There are a few on the market but you have to sing along with Hannah Montana or High School Musical. She doesn't like either. We may get her a Karaoke machine later on but for now is there a cheap robust mike that we can plug into the laptop for her ?. Being 8, there are a lot that are too babyish for her.

Looking for a tactical vest for airsoft, preferably a crossdraw vest so it can hold a pistol...also it must be able to easily fit ak mags, i dont want to have to force them in and out. The vest shouldnt be more than 60 bucks, and adjustable so it can get quite small.

Does my friend's 12-year-old have autism or Asperger's Syndrome?

I recently met my new friend's 12-year-old son, but I seriously thought he was 8 or 9, since he was small for his age. But I noticed that he talks alot and was talking to my husband constantly (and one-sidedly) into the wee hours of the night when we were there. He plays several musical instruments (which he is really good at) and is at the very top in honors in math at his school. He also tends to have a rich vocabulary in his speech. One thing that fascinated me was that he can figure out a rubik's cube in less than a minute! When he plays his instruments he plays one then another and another all within several minutes. He also plays with toys (figurine-type) and makes sounds with them like how a younger kid would. I've noticed that my friend is having a hard time disciplining him, as she would tell him more than once (around 3x) to do something until he finally listens. She'll also tell him constantly not to touch this or that when we all would go on outings. I'm just wondering if these are symptoms of AS or autism? If so, I wish I could somehow help my friend. What to do in an audition for dance/musical theatre colleges?

I will be sending my applications off this September for vocational dance and musical theatre colleges. I will then be auditioning for the colleges from October through to Summer 2012. I was just hoping for some tips on the whole audition process. I have done lots of research on all the credited colleges and after being told by many people i would very much suit Laine Theatre Arts i went to an Easter course there this April and loved it! I am very nervous about the audition process so any tips such as which song to sing, sort of music to dance to, what to wear, what to do to stand out, i would greatly appreciate it!? :)

My computer won't click on anything?

My computer froze during a windows update. So I re-booted it. Everything started up perfectly fine and normal. However, when I click on something, it doesn't do anything. Perfromance & quality will actually be quite similar. But because the Gryphon is cheaper, and this will be your first gun, i'd recommend that. You can always get a different and/or better gun later on, after you've figured out exactly how often you'd be playing, and if it's worth getting more gear.

Do not focus so much on what the guitar is made of. Concentrate on how it SOUNDS. There are so many different variations on woods that it really just becomes a matter of what sounds best to your ears. A dreadnought size would probably be best for projection and bass response. There are many great manufacturers in the price range you are seeking. Your best bet is to go to several music stores that have a large selection of acoustics guitars and try them all!

Rogers pvr stuck recording station I don't want?

I own a Rogers PVR. Seems the unit is stuck constantly recording channel 539, although it does not appear on the list and I have not set it to record. I've tried re booting several time with no success. You should be able to record a show while watching another channel live, but when doing this the machine tells me it's recording 2 channels. Any techies out there?

If you restore your system settings it will not erase your system files, it will just restore the settings back to an earlier point if it was backed up. This sometimes can fix registry problems and auto-run issues. If the problem persists, you may have to do a complete system restore which WILL erase everything. Shes not just some druggy whore. Shes an amazing, strong woman who is judged too harshly. Help with cqb airsoft guns?

I have been looking for a cqb rifle for a while now. I am more of an echo1 fan more then anything else my max payment for the cqb gun is $250. I want rails, adjustable stock, and battery included. Now i am going to buy a leupol vx-3 8.5-25-50mm and I am going to have leupold build the m1 tactical turrets into the scope instead of the target turrets. But I am also going to have them build the bullet drop compensator into it aswell. Now how do they now how much my bullet is going to drop at 500 yards. I'm getting free xbox live gold by mistake?

I called Xbox to cancel my credit card and gold subscription for the summer. It was supposed to go into effect immediately switching to silver; however I still had gold (and still do) after the call. I re-booted my console, deleted my credit card online, the credit card is no longer active for this account, and I still get gold. Then I called Xbox again and they told me they have confirmed that my account should be canceled, but it isn't. They also told me they have no way of billing me as that credit info has been deleted and they have no idea why I am getting free gold. This must be a mistake or glitch but I seem to be getting free gold. They told me they have no way of billing me and that I have no pending charges on my account. They also gave me the reference numbers for my phone calls; is this a glitch on their end? Am I getting free xbox live gold subscription? I usually use a 3 month prepaid subscription card bought in the store but it expired in April. The credit card was set up for one month subscriptions and that is what I called to cancel. my computer cuts out after about 10 minutes of using it. I've changed the mother board as I had a booting up problem, there were two damaged capacitors visible. It now boots up ok but still turns off after about 10 minutes. I've changed the memory and power supply, also I've disconnected the speakers, re-boot Switch and a couple of USB's. Why does my HTC Inspire phone never sync?

Laptop operating system help?

Alright so I have an older windows xp laptop (Toshiba Satellite A105-S4064) which i don't use anymore. I have tried to install Ubuntu 11.04 on it from a flash drive and it got stuck with the Ubuntu logo booting screen. So I turned it off and re-booted from the usb and same thing happened. I thought maybe the usb was corrupt so i re-installed Ubuntu on the usb and tried again. It still didn't work. And now when i turn on my computer the screen doesn't even come on it just turns on and doesn't even show a boot sequence. I'm pretty positive that its not a issue with the screen. I even tried the recovery disk that came with the pc and nothing. Im not sure what to do. I still want to install Ubuntu. But nothing is working. Its as if windows xp was deleted in the Ubuntu install process but Ubuntu never installed to replace it. Any tips?

Ok so I play the guitar. Stacy (this isn't her real name) whom I was friends with and Beth (isn't her real name either) started to hang out with me towards the time of talent show auditions. I've tried hanging out with them b4 but I felt like they left me out too much. We became best friends and did everything together! Scope for my rifle i need help deciding?

i have a Remington target tactical in .308 win i am trying to decide between the nightforce 5.5-22 and the 8-32 NXS but can not decide i will be using this gun for target/hunting purposes (groundhog) from anywhere between 100 and 500 yards .. but theres days i wanna go out with the guys and try banging steel targets from 1000 what scope is for me. Something else to consider is alot of the critters i shoot are relitivly small therefor i beleve the higher maginification would help i currently use a 6-18 scope on my other gun but its blurry past 15 . so if i get a 8-32 it will probably stay clear to around 29-30 but anyways tell me what you think and yes those are the only two i consider so dont suggest a scmidt and bender or leuopold thanks

One allen type screw holds on the rear stock of Mossberg shotguns. It is inside the stock and is accessed by taking the butt plate off,or in the case of the gun pictured the movable end should come off to gain access. As others have said,you can buy this same type of shotgun set up the way you want,and probably for less than the model pictured!

Hi all i have a tower pc windows 7. last week my cd burner was fine and copied audio cd on windows media. untill now it takes longer to burn and to find out it doesnt register on the cd and computer says complete? i installed nero burning rom and i got 'scsi aborted' so i got another cd burner from my spare pc. swapted it installed the driver and its still the same 'scsi aborted' i have tried unstalling the drivers and installing again but still i am puzzled and tried what i can. my last of the list is to re boot windows 7 all together and try that way. if someone can help me? thanks. p.s i also tried system restore

Why do i get no sound from Traktor Pro?

I have recently bought Traktor Pro and am using a Numark omni touch mixer. They both worked perfectly then i turned my PC off and re booted it this morning to find Traktor works (plays music) but you cant hear the sound, you can only see the music playing through on the screen. All other windows sounds work on my pc and i can play music on media player perfectly, its just traktor which is the problem.... Any ideas?

Do you think musical talent today is based on appearance?

The whole entertainment industry has always been very focused on looks and it's even more so today. A good looking boy band or girl band with average voices that can be autotuned will be signed up but a band of average looking people or ugly people with amazing voiced won't be. The acting industry is the same. If you don't look right then you don't stand a chance of getting leading roles or number one hits. I can think of exceptions like Susan Boyle but the contrast between her looks and her voice are what made her famous. Adele is overweight but has an amazing talent and a beautiful face. I expect her to be told to lose weight eventually though. The fact is, we are a looks obsessed society and we buy into image just as much as the voice or the acting talent. Millions of pounds are made off the back of it.

How can you record with the blue snowball and Cubase LE?

I just got the Blue snowball in the mail today and I already have a program called Cubase LE. I'm trying to record with tracks but I can't seem to know how.. I put the musical track on and use another track for my vocals and I don't think my Blue snowball is connected with the software I keep seeing SoundMAX... I don't know how to change this setting...and ALSO why am I keep getting a 2 sec delay with mic I'm using a headset and everything is 2 sec off..It's hard to record this way.

My computer refuses to start please help!?

Around a month ago I had been working on my desktop computer in the morning, went to school and returned home to find my computer in some kind of hibernation/sleep mode. I could not do anything to get the computer to resume so my only option was to hold down the power button and restart it. This continued to happen to me everyday. It got increasingly frequent and so I began worried and attempted to virus scan. I managed to scan some of my drives, however when attempting to run a full scan my computer would go into this "hibernate mode" during the scan and I would have to restart the computer therefore not achieving anything from the scan. The computer exponentially oftenput itself into this mode so I copied everything I could want onto my external hard drive. It has now gotten to the stage where I start up the computer, get asked if I want to run windows in normal mode or safe mode etc. Even when choosing safe mode the computer "hibernates" almost immediatly. Btw this "hibernate mode" consists of my screen turning itself off, but the hard drive is still on. I would rather not have to upgrade my computer and would therefore like to get it working again. The thing is I'm not sure whether it is a firmware issue, hardware, or some kind of virus. So if possible I would like to be able to remove said "virus" and continue using the computer. If that is not possible, Re-boot the computer with the original factory software and settings, although I do not have original disks. The computer did have a recovery drive. Can supply the make model etc. if nessessay. Please help!!!

You have great classes but my only tweaks are put red dot or reflex on commando, change flashbang to nova but I guess they are pretty equal, dual wield your CZ75, put on warlord as one of your perks i forgot which perk it is but yeah. I would also make an HS10 class, Stoner63 class, and consider using a Crossbow as a secondary with explosive tip. It's pretty bad *** if you ask me. One of my favorite classes is HS10 and Crossbow explosive tip semtex, nova gas, claymore, flak jacket, sleight of hand for the shotty reload, and ninja pro.

iv been working on a project for a long time, and yesterday, i saved my file, and then tried to render. for some reason my computer froze and i had to force shut it down. being very happy i had just saved, i re booted and tried to open my file again and it gave me an error reading "file format is not supported in file: C:\Users\Username\Desktop\Portal Pan.blend". is there any way i can get this to work? iv also tried restoring last session but it just opens the default screen. Can get i get it back or even get it back to a previous save?

Ive had my ps3 a little over a year (and that means warrenty turned off) and my sister and her friend always shut it down from the back. I told them to stop, but one day they did it and when i re booted it it said the HDD was repairing and it restarted. It told me it was not shut down correctly and to restart it the right way. Everything on the XMB was loading, and i shut it off. Then came three beeps and the green power button was blinking. I HAD to shut it off from the back then. And now im in a paradox where all of this keeps happening. I dont want it to have the YLOD! What happened and how can I fix it? (overall, it still works. But the power problem is concerning me alot)

Either you can get a new copy of windows, or take it to a shop and have them do it for you. Sounds like windows isn't activated, you'll need the key to activate windows, which is why I said get a new copy and do a clean install of windows, if not have a computer tech do it. Which will consist of them reformatting windows, and fixing anything else that's wrong with it, be prepared to pay for there work though.

Windows 7 update frozen?

Should I just let my computer's battery die, and then try and re-boot? I have windows 7. It was performing a system update and said " Please do not power off or unplug your machine. Installing update 1 of 1." Well my little brother turned off the computer, causing that page to freeze. The mouse is still showing the spinning wheel, but I can't move it. I tried re-booting but no luck. What should I do? Do I need to hold down the power key longer? Im pretty sure pressing certain keys won't do anything because its been frozen for hours. Computer not booting up?

I just re-installed my operating system windows Vista. Every thing works great except one thing. After sitting for a while it seems to shut its self off and i can't get it to start to re-boot until I shut of the power. Then I turn on the power and a black screen appears with a flashing cursor in the top right hand corner, and below it says to either click "Return to Window" or "Delete restoration data and proceed to system boot menu, so I push enter and it boots into windows. If i high light "Return to Windows", and push enter it just goes back to a black screen and a flashing cursor.Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

How can I improve my Xbox LIVE connection?

Can anyone help with these laptop troubles, Please?

A friend of mine accidentally dropped his Dell Inspiron laptop. He said it only dropped 4-5 inches onto tile flooring. It still worked after it got dropped. he left his room and came back to his laptop with a black screen displaying:"No harddrive found." I gave him the steps to "reseat" his harddrive. He did all the steps correctly and turned it on. This time it displayed: "Media test failed, check cable." It wont go to the desktop when you start it auto-matically gives you a black screen with errors on it. He ran a test and the test came up with these results: "Warning: no harddrive found." After that we ran the test once more and we got the same results. We re-booted the laptop and afterwards it displayed: "Boot priority 1-6." PLEASE help. Ive spent an entire day searching on the internet for things that could possibly help but I couldnt find anything exactly like this. Please, Im on my last resorts....

Why won't my computer boot up?

Yesterday my computer started re-booting itself for no reason it would re-boot a couple of times and then display a blue screen with info on why it wouldn't start. The first thing it said was that the back up disk drive was full so it wouldn't start to keep my computer from being harmed. So I restarted my computer and formatted the back up drive which had nothing important backed up on it. My computer worked for a few minuets and then started re-booting itself again. The next time the blue screen came up it said something about a bug usb and to restart in safe mode. Restarting in safe mode didn't help the next time the blue screen came on it said something about software error. It kept changing every time it would come on. I finally gave up and turned my computer. I went to try and fix it this morning and when I turn it on the fan comes on and it starts to boot up for a minuet and then it turns off completely and it no longer displays anything or re-boots it self. I have windows 7 software.

What's your hunting rig?

White tail deer is what I love. But I do hunt turkeys and coyotes(turkey in season of course) to pass the tune between deer season. I use a savage 111 in 30-06 with a bushnell scope. I hunt from a tree stand. My favorite moment hunting is when the sun rises over the pond/lake/swamp I hunt next to and all the birds are cherping. And when I shoot at a deer all the geese and ducks flew away and started quacking. Very cool.

Battlefield 3 vs. Modern Warfare 3 - run n gun/rushing?

I can't get both, so i've got to choose, I like to play run n gun aka rushing the enemy, I've never played battlefield, but really liked mw2. I really liked the scar-h and ACR in mw2 for longer distance, and the ump.45/tar for rushing. Snipers where also very good. I liked the way the weapons where balanced in Mw2, the scar had good damage and accuracy, bot low fire rate and ammo, ACR good accuracy, less damage. ump45 good damage, good fire rate, low accuracy on long range. What is battlefield like? I like to mix my rushing style, with tactical objective play, so Which game will be the best for me, and why?

Can pictures still be found after re-booting computer system?

Hello all I am not a computer expert so I thought I would give it a shot and ask on here.my computer was rather slow my husband took it upon himself to reboot my system without my knoledge and I lost memorable pictures almost 3 years worth, is there any way to get them back or are they gone for good ? How do I remove what seems to be a boot virus?

Each time I re boot my computer, my anti-virus identifies a virus. Trying to remove it, it's only quarantined it saying it cannot remove the virus at the moment. Earlier today I couldn't boot up for about 5 hours. Yes my anti- virus is updated and working. Any recommendations?

Should i take jazz or lyrical?

My first piece of advice is don't take both tap and musical theatre. They are basically the same, so pick one or the other. Now you have two open spaces for classes. I suggest picking Jazz over lyrical, because lyrical is basically a ballet class, and if you ever want to go professional, it won't do you any good. Now you can take one more class, whether it's the musical theatre you just cannot wait to take, lyrical (which i don't suggest), or any other class that catches your eye. I think that you should either add hip hop (if your studio offers it), or ballet. I suggest those because 1, Hip Hop has always been one of my favorites (and i've taken everything), and 2, Ballet is the base of all dance. Hope I helped!

Musical assistance, what kind of rosin do I need on a stand up bass?

I'm pretty new to playing the stand up bass and I needed rosin for it. So I went over to the music store and asked the guy for some stand up bass rosin. He didn't have any so he gave me some dark violin rosin and said that would work. Bought it. Then found out that they make rosin just for the bass. Dell D630 screen not displaying upon boot?

I have a Dell D630 and when I boot up I only see a dark screen. It fully boots because I can hear the CPU as well as the Windows chime, Skype and a few other applications. After re-booting a few times, the PC starts up just fine and is visible on the screen. It may have something to do with the laptop thinking it’s top is closed so the screen isn’t showing. DVDs won't play on my PC. How do I fix it?

Hi. I have a Dell PC, and Windows VIsta is installed. I can play CDs on the drive, but not DVDs. They did play, just don't now. If I put one in, then try to open it through computer/C/dvddrive, then you can't even see which disc is in, and the tray opens. I have re-booted, looked for drives to install, tried the MS fix from their site. I have tried this on both Media Player and VLC, but the key issue is that the disc isn't even recognised by Windows, before we even get to the player. Anything else to try? Thanks
